SUMMARY:

  • The Senior Designer is responsible for developing and producing creative solutions with team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • A strong command of design across digital and print, marketing principals, technologies and opportunities is of utmost importance, as is cultural fit within the agency and companywide.
  • Candidates must possess the ability to provide exceptional thought leadership throughout concept, design and execution of campaigns, marketing collateral, trade show graphics, digital applications, etc.
  • The senior designer works closely with the art director and creative director to develop leading-edge concepts for marketing initiatives.
  • Lastly, they participate in the management of the brand visually, giving guidance and recommendations to internal and external clients.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with manager, creative director, writers, other marketing team members and internal stakeholders to ensure the appropriate concepts, themes and messages are represented effectively and consistently for the business objective(s) and audience(s).
  • Ensure assignments adhere to the approved brand and messaging guidelines to maintain our corporate identity. 
  • Work well within a singular brand and creatively explore it’s potential. Ensure concept/design consistency across client initiatives and mediums
  • Possesses excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills and confidence to present and explain ideas to team and clients
  • Remain informed of industry news, creative and general activity
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and to learn something new every day
  • Take assignments from initial concept to production finish

EXPERTISE:

  • 5+ years of graphic design experience within an internal or external agency
  • Must possess strong conceptual skills and a command of typography, illustration and photography to take campaigns across diverse platforms
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong acumen of digital trends and emerging technologies
  • Acumen of the print space
