Job Description:

  • Client's eCommerce department consists of several teams supporting various customer experience aspects (e.g. browse, search, cart, checkout).
  • This specific role will be part of the Commerce Platform team.
  • The Commerce Platform Team at client's is responsible for enabling all aspects of multiple cart and checkout interactions and monitoring across different digital platforms at clients including company's website .
  • This suite of applications and services forms the core of the purchasing phase of the customer journey.
  • This team builds and manages highly scalable and performant API’s and pipelines that are deployed to two different data centers. The team follows Agile methodology to manage delivery of application features.

Position Summary/Job Description:
This role will provide value and support to all product team members. This role is expected to:

  • . Author user stories
  • . Lead product documentation processes
  • . Be an expert on complex functional behaviors including clients website Cart, Checkout processes and API functions
  • . Identify functional changes required to support user stories
  • . Engage in dialogue with outside stakeholders and in continual dialogue with the product team
  • . Ensure delivered solutions meet both quality standards and the intent of the change
  • . Provide inputs into backlog prioritization
  • . Perform User Acceptance Test for the new features to be released.

What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?

  • . 1+years of experience in using splunk, postman (or any other rest client), chrome dev tools.
  • . 3+years of experience in writing stories for of Java Springboot based backend applications.
  • . 3+ years of experience in JIRA or any other agile management tool for epics, story and bug management.
  • . Analytical thinking and comfort with using and manipulating data
  • . Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience with documenting requirements, user stories and functional documentation.
  • . Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
  • . Ability to break down complex problems into manageable output and deliverables. Ability to test an application both from an end-user’s perspective as well as using supporting tools such as application logs, API testers and database queries
  • The candidate must have at least 5 years performing in a BSA, BA or equivalent role.
