Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Responsible for the setup, maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/integration pipelines and API programming to advance automation and DevOps processes for our Contact Center.)

Ideal Background:

  • Experience in Configuration Management/Infrastructure as Code with some Contact Center familiarity)

Team and Team size:

  •  OmniChannel Platform Automation Team – 6 members
  • Director, Scrum Master, 4 Developers

Top Responsibilities:

  •  Work with development teams to define software solutions,
  • Design and maintain automation pipelines,
  • Write effective APIs
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency,
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software,
  • Create security and data protection settings,
  • Write technical documentation)

Skills/attributes Required

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Application Development using JAVA and/or Python
  • 3+ years of experience in Automation Engineering using Configuration Management Tools (Ansible, Chef)

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • Sound skills with scripting languages, such as YAML, Ruby, Bash, Groovy
  • 3+ years of experience with Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins, XL Deploy, Artifactory)
  • Sound knowledge of Linux Administration
  • Experience with Hashi Corp Products (Terraform, Vault),
  • Experience with Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies, such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with Genesys PSDK
  • Experience with Weblogic,
  • Experience with MS SQL

Working Time:

  •  Monday – Friday, 8-4 Central

Interview Process:

  •  Video phone, two rounds, moderately technical
