Job Title:

  • We are seeking an experienced, high caliber and self-motivated Test Engineer to develop, maintain, document and validate production software and Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
  • This includes performing all aspects of production software and test system validation, including documentation and testing.
  • This position requires application of engineering and scientific principles to the evaluation and solution of technical problems and use of technical judgment in planning, organizing, performing, coordinating and/or directing engineering work.
  • This position requires periodically working in a class 5 and class 7 clean room environment as needed.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain ATE and software for production, throughout lifecycle.
  • Generates software and hardware requirements documents.
  • Performs software and hardware documentation and validation (e.g.  equipment specification, software requirements, test protocols, design, hazard analysis, Data Integrity/Part11 compliance, testing, installation qualifications and test method validation) as required.
  • Develop maintenance procedures for software and/or ATE.
  • Generates detailed project plans and timelines.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or other applicable field of study) with 2-5 years of related work experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • Two (2) years or greater experience in writing software for measurement equipment (e.g. GPIB, RS-232, USB, etc), preferred.
  • Experience in LabVIEW, or “C", or VBA (or other scripting languages) and/or data management tools (SQL, SPC) preferred.
  • Experience in software/hardware documentation and validation (e.g. software requirements, test plans and protocols hazard analysis, Data Integrity/Part11 compliance, etc.), preferred.
