Position Description:
  • Software design/development
  • Develop/validate requirements with help of business and technology team
  • Solution design with help of architecture practice
  • Employ effective cloud-based technologies/patterns to deliver solutions
  • Develop transition plans to move assets from on-premises to cloud environment, leverage enterprise patterns and solutions
  • Support/maintenance
  • Automate systems and create self-service tools
  • Analyze/fix code defects and data quality issues
  • Ensure change management done effectively
  • Ensure applications comply with info sec/risk controls
Required Qualifications -
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in technology and/or software development, progressing in complexity and responsibility. 
  • 5+ years of experience coding and/or designing in multiple programming languages, including focused experience in relevant/targeted software stack (Web Services, REST, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Java or .NET / Python). 
  • 5+ years of practical experience and proven success with the design and build of complex software applications in multiple environments. 
  • Be an excellent problem solver with a solid understanding of OOP and a passion and drive to expand your coding skills. 
  • Solid foundational knowledge of SQL. Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience within the asset management business and/or quantitative space a must (this includes working with asset/fund portfolio managers on portfolio balancing strategies, knowledge of asset classes, etc.) - Versed in investment decision support systems and technologies including Factset, Barra, Axioma, Xpressfeed and Clarifi. 
  • Web development: Experience with SPA framework (Angular, React, Vue, etc.)
