Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Resource will support ETL processes for 391 HEDIS submissions sourced from 5 data warehouses for reporting across all 3 LOBs.
  • Resources will also contribute to the creation of HEDIS data feeds for new Individual
  • Exchange plans, migrating PRIME membership, and the migration from MRE+ to MRE for Inovalon HIVE ingestion jobs.
  • Initiatives ensure regulatory compliance and improving HEDIS/STARS rates through data completeness and quality improvement.
  • Without the resources, we will not be able to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Background:

  • Health care experience would be a plus.
  • Data Stage Experience or any ETL Tool experience.
  • Team Player.

Experience:

  • Healthcare knowledge
  • Big Data Experience
  • Any Cloud Technologies

Top Requirements:

  • ETL tool experience
  • Unix Scripting
  • SQL experience

Team and Team size:

  • Team of 12 Developers , distributed among multiple sources.

Job Duties:

  • Analyze and interpret complex business requirements/workflows
  • Gather and prepare analysis based on information from internal and external sources to evaluate and demonstrate program effectiveness and efficiency
  • Perform detailed design, development, unit testing and deployment for small – medium size projects
  • Developing and maintaining standards, common processes and best practices
  • Create quality documentations (Design, Unit test plans, Operations Guide)
  • Support project deployments
  • Assist others on issues, critical situations to meet project objectives and act as a technical mentor for junior team members
  • Status reporting for the assigned projects

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? 1-2 depending on how they perform on round 1
  • b. Video vs. phone? Video Preferred.
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? Not that technical..but experiences on how to handle different issues.
  • d. When do you anticipate starting the interview process? Within a week of posting.
