Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, design, healthcare, or another related field.
  • Two or more years of Business Analysis, quality improvement, or leadership experience.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Natural curiosity and ability to ask good questions.
  • Healthy dissatisfaction with the status quo.
  • A natural learner.
  • Self-motivated and hungry to learn.
  • Ability to take direction and run with confidence.
  • Attention to detail/accuracy while being able to understand the bigger picture.
  • Experience eliciting and evaluating business needs and requirements from stakeholders.
  • Experience in critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciliation of conflicts and decomposition of high-level information into details.
  • Experience with creating/maintaining artifacts including vision documentation, functional specifications, use cases, business requirements/rules, business process diagrams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users, developers, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Proficiency utilizing MS Word, Excel, and Visio.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
  • Desire to convert to a full-time employee.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the healthcare payer or provider industry.
  • Experience working within an agile development cycle and writing stories.
  • Experience with working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in Epic.
  • Experience with consumer-facing digital products (e.g. texting).
  • Market research or human-centered design experience.
  • Quality improvement experience.
