Essential Functions:
• Works with SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and other components of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to design, build, test, and implement solutions.
• Develops new systems, builds reusable components, provides support and enablement to citizen developers, and promote the adoption of Office365.
• Provides leadership, mentoring, and assists in the facilitation of team management by directing the work of and setting technical direction for other team members in an open, positive, and collaborative manner. Provides cross functional leadership by influencing technology decisions across the district and/or the greater org system.
• Contributes to the development and implementation of Microsoft 365 Ecosystem.
• Works with complex and diverse technologies and can effectively support multiple projects, business lines and platforms.
• Collaborates with business areas to identify application development solutions, enhance new or modified programs, and to integrate purchased or System solutions to meet business requirements.
• Documents, analyzes, and tests to resolve problems. Implements solutions and provides on-going support. Responds to audit reviews and findings for existing applications/software.
• Applies the appropriate software/system development life cycle methodology and collaborates with others in development work to achieve desired results.
• Provides comprehensive consultations and analysis at the highest technical level on all phases of application programming and processes for diverse development platforms, computing environments including identifying portions of the organization’s IT platform/infrastructure with the highest potential return using Microsoft 365 Platforms.
• Researches, evaluates, and recommends solutions, identifies ways to reuse existing code, and designs prototypes using current or emerging technologies.
• Leads technology initiative projects of moderate up to the highest complexity which include new development, purchased solutions, and other automation efforts.
• May provide input to department management for business planning and decision making.
• Mentors and provides technical training, information, and technical expertise to other automation and business area staff and management as necessary.
• Develops and presents technical information and expertise to business areas, IT staff, and management as necessary to encourage usage and adoption of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; major or coursework in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in application development using SharePoint, SharePoint Online, Power Platform or similar technologies required.
• Proven technical competence in SharePoint Online development and configuration plus one or more standard application development language, scripting language, framework, pattern, or platform required.
• Experience in information assurance, security management, security policy, security architectures, identity management, access control solutions, and/or enterprise application integration required.
• Experience working in an Enterprise Agile and DevOps team environment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills combined with creative thinking and ability to work on abstract concepts.
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across the team and with leadership
