Primary responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and assurance from internal and external perspectives, regulatory requirements, and standards (SOX, NIST 800-171 DoD DFARS, PCI DSS, GDPR, CCPA, internal and external audits and assessments)
  • Maintaining risk issues tracking in a GRC tool
  • Coordinating with global cross-functional teams on the operational activities needed to support the Security Governance Risk and Compliance program
  • Leading risk assessment activities including evaluating IT and security risks through collaboration with internal and external individuals
  • Creating, modifying and reviewing IT/Security policies, standards and processes
  • Creating, distributing and tracking information security training and awareness material
  • Performing information security reviews of new and existing vendors, suppliers, partners and clients
  • Drafting and presenting reports and metrics to IT, Security and business management

What will make you successful?

  • Understands day-to-day IT and business processes
  • Knowledgeable about current software and hardware risks, controls and procedures
  • Familiarity with some of the following: SOX 404, PCI DSS, DoD DFARS, application/database/server security, IT policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of applicable industry rules (ISO27001, NIST, COSO, CoBIT) and expertise in Information Security best practices
  • Knowledge of IT Risk Management principles, tools and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • IT Audit/Consulting experience is a plus
  • Experience interacting with Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) platforms such as Service Now, Archer, or equivalent is a plus

BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING:

  • Comfortable and confident interacting with global management and staff
  • Excellent writing and speaking communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills emphasizing accuracy, completeness and ability to synthesize information
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical information in understandable business terms
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to problem-solve and work through day-to-day issues, knowing when to escalate vs. self-solve while building and maintaining productive business relationships

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and/or corresponding experience in necessary knowledge and skills of the position
  • Minimum 2 years of professional level IT and information security experience, including experience related to IT controls, data protection, risk management and technology compliance
