Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • They will be the project manager across HSID and a portal being newly onboarded onto HSID.
  • There is an existing checklist but each implementation usually has some unique nuisances where they will need the ability to vet who to pull in to solve the problem (example: Dev, QA, Product, Operations, etc..).

Ideal Background:

  • They do not need a Healthcare background HSID is a single sign-on portal.
  • The candidate must be very detail orientated.
  • A working knowledge of the development life cycle plus a technical aptitude is required.
  • They will be working several implementations simultaneously so organizational skills will be key.
  • They will also be working with 100s of people with unique backgrounds, styles, and personalities. Patience and strong communication skills are a must.


  • A strong desire to gain efficiencies through process improvements.

Top Requirements:

  • knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Strong communication skills including being very patient with teams with lots of questions
  • Detail orientated/organized. – 2 Years’ experience

Team and Team size:

  •  HSID has 8 scrum teams and 60+ engineers. The goal for 2022 is to onboard 100s of additional portals

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development of tools to track organizational objectives and short and long-range project or program goals
  • Independently manages a project and maintains a performance management process which includes: performance planning and results for assigned project and programs; advising, supporting and ensuring performance requirements, goals, measures, and assessment activities are established, met, tracked, and reported
  • Prepares draft agendas for meetings. Participates in meetings, takes minutes and provides advice and follow-up correspondence
  • Prepares reports, presentations, verbal/written correspondences, policies, communications, procedures and other required documentation
  • Performs moderately complex business analysis and conducts research, analyzes/interprets information on issues, proposals and problems to ensure that adequate data is provided to leadership for decision-making and informational purposes
  • Prepares budgets, conducts expense analysis, and communicates with executive staff on matters pertaining to budget and resources
  • Takes projects from concept through full implementation and control
  • Analyzes processes and presents findings to functional leads to develop or improve processes, products, services and/or programs to support the overarching goals of the enterprise
  • Conducts focus groups, process observation, and time and motion studies as necessary
  • Works closely with IT and business partners to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and/or business processes
  • Able to serve as a liaison between business and IT to document business and / or technical requirements
  • May act as a resource for others
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive responsibility with successful professional assistance, project management or process improvement initiatives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Proven ability to independently solve moderately complex problems
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, organize and complete complex work efforts to meet established objectives
  • Proven ability to successfully develop a project plan or action plans and execute the plan through implementation
  • Experience in mobilizing teams and maintaining motivation to accomplish goals under stringent timelines
  • Experience to collaborate and coordinate work with other team members
  • Proven ability to interact one-on-one and consult with all levels of executive management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with process mapping methodology and creating process maps
