Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • One of the UHCs strategic next generation Sales Automation Management tool that provides a one stop shop for brokers.
  • The tool is an online web application that lets brokers create insurance quotes all the way through enrollment of health plans for customers. It is brand new application, with many features still being built out.

Ideal Background:

  • We want to be as specific as possible with our firms so they can find the type of candidate you’re looking for.
  • Experience with full stack development
  • Experience working with modern JS libraries like React JS
  • Knows JavaScript and TypeScript
  • State management library skills like Redux
  • NoSQL database knowledge like MongoDB
  • Experience writing APIs with NodeJS
  • Git and GitHub knowledge
  • Familiar with automated testing and can write unit tests
  • Experience with infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins and OpenShift. Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Understand performance and optimization techniques
  • Can work individually as well as collaborate between multiple teams
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum development
  • Basic knowledge of health insurance


  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with other developers and testers to accomplish a larger goal.
  • Design experience using architecture patterns for large scale applications.

Top Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience with NodeJS
  • 4+ years of experience with Single Page or Progressive Web Applications

  •  2 Developers, 1 QE/SDET, 1 SM
