Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • OCEP is a marketing platform on Azure sql DB, streaming & data ingestion to the data mart.

Ideal Background:

  • Design and develop reusable Microservice capabilities that meet customer requirements while upholding high standards of reliability, security, maintainability, and performance.
  • Thorough understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles: object-oriented development, Microservices, SOA, data access layer management, usability, debugging, and configuration management
  • Perform software quality assurance, including integrated automated testing

Team and Team size:

  • Developers - 3-4, Scrum master, PO, QA, DBA, ARCH

Top Responsibilities:

  •  building/changes to data ingestion platform, performance tuning, testing, deployments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop reusable Microservice capabilities that meet customer requirements while upholding high standards of reliability, security, maintainability, and performance.
  • Thorough understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles: object-oriented development, Microservices, SOA, data access layer management, usability, debugging, and configuration management
  • Perform software quality assurance, including integrated automated testing
  • Build in monitoring instrumentation into applications
  • Continually monitor industry developments in data developments tools, and products used in the continuous delivery model
  • Lead solving complex problems and/or conduct complex analysis
  • Provide explanations and information to others on difficult issues
  • Coach, provide feedback and guide others
  • Identify/quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems
  • Worked in cloud infrastructure like Azure.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in Java
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs or RESTful web services
  • Experience using Java and the Spring Framework including Springboot, Kafka using any RDBMS or any DB. Preferably Azure SQL
  • Experience building batch/back end applications based on Micro services Architecture
  • Proficiency in Jenkins pipeline CI/CD, Github, Docker and Maven, Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps [ Good to have]
  • Skills: Core Java, Microservices, Spring
  • Good object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge on Continuous Delivery pipeline and DevOps culture (SDLC, CI/CD, Monitoring)
  • Knowledge on Agile Methodology

Working Time:

  •  8-4:30pm

Interview Process:

  • Interviews will be done via video, 3 rounds
  • a. How many rounds? 3
  • b. Video vs. phone? Both
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? Very to ensure level of skill
