Job Description: 
  • Front End Web Performance Team – Online Experiences We exist to stay ahead of the moving target that is site performance.
  • Our stakeholders should view us as experts with the ability and willingness to help them achieve performance goals.
  • While we don't write code for them, we're their trusted advisors.
  • Additionally, our group explores new technologies that could benefit our teams and customers.
  • Lastly, and maybe most importantly, we view ourselves as the stewards of building a Culture of Performance.
  • Our continuation of performance will only happen when everyone is consistently bought into the process.
Project Description:
  • Based on both qualitative and quantitative measures, we can unequivocally say that our customers value a fast website and reward us with their business.
  • Additionally, and with slightly less precision, our belief is that building a culture of performance will improve our employee experience by increasing the pride we take in what we build.
Position Summary/Job Description:
  • Part of a team of individuals striving to be experts in web performance, pushing forward a culture of performance first and being partners for lifting each other up.
How much time will the resource spend pair programming? 
  • ~20%
Skills Overview:
What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?
  • Understanding of Core Web Vitals, what they are and how they are calculated
  • Experience working in a performance monitoring tool: Lighthouse, Speed curve, Dynatrace, other
  • Experience using Chrome Dev Tools to understanding page level performance indicators
  • Firm grasp of JavaScript
  • Firm grasp of REACT
What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?
  • Any experience with WebDriverIO or similar Automation Framework(s)
Will there be a Hacker Rank test Required for this REQ? 
  • Yes
