Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • The Solution Architect role is to support a collection of Care initiatives at the National and Regional level.

Experience:

  • Healthcare experiences. It is a pre-requisite. If they do not have HL7, we will pass on that candidate.

Top Requirements:

  • The individual needs to be able to apply a 360 degree technical view when putting together solution blueprints to solve
  • Healthcare business problems. Integration Architect, Application Architect and Infrastructure Architect are the top skill sets needed.

Team and Team size:

  • The team is composed of Enterprise and Solution Architects and are aligned to an Care region.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise IT principles, standards, and healthcare industry standards and regulations
  • Responsible for intake scoping, solution concepts and initial cost estimation; system architecture definition at the logical level
  • Define architecture blueprint for end-to-end systems to including integration of applications, systems, platforms and technical infrastructure
  • Work closely with solution engineering, development teams and vendors to ensure that a coherent and consistent approach to design, implementation and integration is achieved
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance to delivery teammates including reference implementation, design patterns and best practice guidelines
  • Teach and mentor solution engineering and technical teams on solution building blocks

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of technical experience with application integration: SOA, HL7, Web Services, RESTful, Message Queue solutions using SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience in an architecture role, designing end-to-end, enterprise solutions across the complete systems development lifecycle
  • 2+ years of Health Care IT experience: ex: EHR, Practice Management, Interface Engines, HL7, CDA, or DICOM
  • Experience in driving solutions that map to the global target architecture, standards, and roadmaps in a distributed hardware, operating systems, and cloud computing
  • Experience analyzing the current business, detecting critical deficiencies, and recommending solutions for improvement
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar Group-approved symptom screener.
  • When in a Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of experience with Java, J2EE or MS .NET Framework
  • Overall experience and knowledge in distributed systems, mobile devices, middleware such as Business Process Management, Business Rules Management, Interface Engine, HA database, highly available architectures, data/service virtualization, or data warehousing and reporting
  • Familiarity with Master Data Management technologies such as NextGate eMPI

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? The first interview will be allocated 2 hours. If the candidate passes, there will be 2 or 3 interviews, 1 hour each.
  • b. Video vs. phone? both
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? It’s a technical position, the interviews will explore their technical acumen.
