TECHNICAL SKILLS

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Associate Print Designer utilizes digital software to create artwork through all phases of development to the final output of production ready artwork. 
  • Must possess the ability to translate concepts from design partners into artwork, create engineered and repeat layouts appropriate for specific product, reduce colors and prepare final production files for all company's  product categories.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Work with closely concept team in order to create print artwork that accurately reflects the desired aesthetic. 
  • Redesign core print designs in order to meet the needs of specific garments 
  • Prepare production files for artwork that meet the expectations of our mills without sacrificing the aesthetic. 
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross functional partners  

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience
  • 1-3years Textile design experience
  • Proficiency in the latest releases of Illustrator and Photoshop .
  • NetGraphics or equivalent proprietary textile design software a plus.  
  • An understanding of production 
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills 
  • Ability to multitask and meet overlapping deadlines 
  • Ability to work on teams 
  • Ability to work in a high volume, detail-oriented studio or fashion company
