Projects the candidate will be working on:

Ideal Background:

  • Healthcare domain knowledge with FHIR standards is preferred.

Experience:

  • Health care domain knowledge/technical architecture knowledge, working well with others, cloud experience.

Top Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in a senior-level Applications Developer and/or architecture role, of which atleast 3 years are in a supervisory role
  • Experience with designing and implementing RESTful Web Services with Microservices design principle using Spring Boot or a similar framework
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, grooming Features and Stories, able to work with Product Owners, Developers, and Enterprise architects and drive architecture solutions across the team

Team and Team size:

  • This architect will work across several teams designing solutions, so could be 10-20 engineers they work with.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to and advances architecture strategy, provides clarity on tools, patterns and directions to accelerate delivery
  • Documents and communicates architectural vision, technical strategies, enterprise solutions and trade-offs to gain buy in
  • Produces design models with high degree of complexity and connects multiple domains and technologies
  • Provides oversight of other's conceptual designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture direction and business goals
  • Serves as an escalation point for complex issues, problems and solutions
  • . Draws correlations from non-standard data sets and uses broader inferences to drive business value
  • Stays current with evolving technologies and recommends engineering best practices
  • Seeks out information to learn about systems that support or rely upon solution to better understand integrations and impacts
  • Demonstrates awareness of importance of security, scalability, reliability and feasibility in solution design
  • Identifies applicable security/data standards when reviewing requirements and recommends controls to ensure compliance
  • Communicates and negotiates direction with executive leadership and technical stakeholders
  • Ensure that features are sufficiently groomed including the creation of solution intent documentation in advance of agile planning sessions to ensure agile teams have a sufficient backlog to operate efficiently
  • Prepare materials for Architectural Review Boards that demonstrate the alignment of the software delivery to enterprise practices and roadmap
  • Evaluates service areas to identify opportunities for automation
  • Eliminates complexity/unneeded interdependencies and reduces waste through rationalization and standards
  • Possesses capability to work on full business and/or techonlogy stack
  • . Lead or Drive complete architecture and design for the multiple projects
  • . Leads quality improvement process and initiates/implements strategies to embed quality practices in culture

Required:

  • 6+ years of experience in a senior-level Applications Developer and/or architecture role, of which atleast 3 years are in a supervisory role
  • Experience with designing and implementing RESTful Web Services with Microservices design principle using Spring Boot or a similar framework
  • Experience with No SQL data stores (e.g. Elasticsearch, Cassandra, MongoDB etc.), table definitions/index, Avro, JSON, Kafka Streaming, event driven architecture, microservice architecture
  • Experience with canonical data models designed to support reusable event-based processing
  • Experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture, Design Patterns, Data Ingestion
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, grooming Features and Stories, able to work with Product Owners, Developers, and Enterprise architects and drive architecture solutions across the team
  • Experience with public cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
  • Knowledge of industry standard patterns, practices, best practices in using technologies including Microservices and containers, Cloud, message streaming, REST and web services APIs

Nice to have:

  • Experience with FHIR, Graph QL, Java 11, Springboot
  • A focus on architecting near real-time business event-driven solutions using publish-subscribe patterns and data streaming technologies
  • Excellent time management, communication, cross-team collaboration, decision making, and presentation skills

  • c. How technical will the interviews be? They will be technical, analytic and leadership
