Description:

  • In this role, the Sr. Data Analyst will be an integral part of Corporate Human Capital’s Enterprise Talent Management, Development and Learning (TMDL) and report to the Associate Director in our Learning Experience team.
  • They will develop and implement tools to drive improved decision making and business performance by providing executive insights and key trends to Human Capital and business leaders.

Team and Team size:

  • This person will collaborate with the team to translate business objectives and challenges into analytics projects, prioritize competing priorities, share best practices and deliver analytics and reporting of key business trends to our business partners.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Learning data reporting 
  • Helping team with data definitions
  • Integrating/conditioning data from multiple sources per definitions
  • Creating reporting in Domo using said data & census data
  • Producing specific numbers to answer questions
  • Upskilling others on our team with Domo data transform & reporting work
  • Helping our TMDL team do some standard reporting across the function

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify data requirements and formulate objectives of analytics projects
  • Collaborate with other members of Talent Analytics as needed to ensure successful implementation of analytics projects
  • Manipulate and query structured data to discover meaningful patterns and trends
  • Cleary visualize results and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders to help guide people strategy and decision-making
  • Use internal and external data to identify opportunities to improve business performance
  • Proactively engage with Human Capital leaders to track and improve employee-related metrics to measure the return on Human Capital investments
  • Act as subject matter expert for leaders across Talent Management, Development and Learning and answer Talent data-related questions
  • Compile presentations to effectively synthesize and communicate results and implications of data findings and trends
  • Prepare and manage talent data for external annual compliance reporting and auditing
  • Assist in crafting standards and requirements for Talent Development reporting and analytics

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3+ years of experience using conceptual data analytics to formulate hypotheses, determine assumptions to test, and interpret data / results
  • 3+ years of work experience analyzing and interpreting data to provide insights
  • 3+ years of consulting experience with customers and influencing leaders
  • Expert Microsoft Excel skills
  • Database management experience using SQL
  • Data visualization expertise using tools such as Tableau, Domo and Power BI
  • This role can allow for telecommute

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree
  • Consulting / client-facing / client management experience
  • Expert proficiency in statistical techniques
  • Healthcare industry knowledge
  • Familiarity with human capital metrics / measures
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong data acumen, including the ability to identify trends, anomalies and points requiring additional investigation.
  • Ability to synthesize raw data sets into themes and action plans
  • Curiosity for learning and working in ambiguous environments
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Growth mindset

Does this position require a professional license or certification:

  • No. DOMO certification is a plus

Working Time:

  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
