Description:
  • Newly acquired point-of-sale company, is seeking a Scrum Master to help facilitate Agile processes within teams and enable the delivery of high quality and customer-focused software.
  • In this role, the Scrum Master will oversee Scrum teams, lead daily stand ups, provide direction to the engineering/development teams, as well as have an ability to create an environment that empowers and energizes the team, with a focus on accountability, adaptability, and collaboration.
  •  
  • Serve as the Scrum Master for multiple development teams
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies e.g. daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint demos/retrospectives
  • Collaborates with product owner and architect to ensure alignment on strategy and execution
  • Facilitates interaction and appropriate communication between scrum teams, architecture and UX
  • Ensure adherence to agile practice through scrum activities for scrum teams
  • Ensures successful delivery of large impact and/or cross-functional product initiatives
  • Experience working with offsite teams across multiple time zones
  • Collect and present metrics in various formats for different audiences
  • Make use of data to create actionable plans for optimization, improvements
  • Be a source of inspiration and foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork
  • Maintain a safe environment, where everyone feels respected, empowered, and free to express their constructive thoughts and feelings

Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 3 years of experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.
  • Experience in SaaS, SMB based businesses, payments and mobile companies
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Working experience in:
  • System development life cycle
  • SAFe methodology
  • Experience managing Scrum teams
  • Strong communication skills
Extensive experience in:
  • Document management
  • Confluence and JIRA
Subject matter expert in:
  • Project control and reporting
  • Project planning and organization
  • Agile IT project management
