Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • FHIR-based IT Systems development- Data Acquisition

Team and Team size:

  • Part of an agile Scrum Team (5-7 members total)
  • be a part of an Agile development team for the Enterprise Clinical Integration and Interoperability group

Skills/attributes:

  • Hands on development with .Net (4-6 years)
  • Hands on development with Azure or AWS (1-2 years
  • Must be familiar with OAuth2 and OIDC
  • Good understanding of clinical domains CPT, ICD, LOINC
  • Experience working in Agile environment
  • Able to work under minimal supervision
  • Outstanding problem solver
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Good negotiations skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to develop thinking in Object Oriented terms (abstractions, polymorphism, etc.)
  • Experience implementing solution according to HIPAA and Privacy rules especially in relationship to payers domain (1-3 years)

Nice to have:

  • Familiar with FHIR and SMART on FHIR
  • Familiar with HL7 v2
  • Experience with EHR clinical integrations (HL7 Implementation Guides, IHE Profiles or custom protocols)
  • Experience connecting with EHRs (EPIC, Allscripts, Cerner etc.) (1-2 years)
  • Experience with EHR clinical integrations (HL7 Implementation Guides, IHE Profiles or custom protocols)

Education:

  • BS in engineering or computer science

Bonus

  • Experience designing and developing integration engine like solutions
  • Hands on experience implementing HL7 Implementation Guides
  • Past experience at attending HL7 Connectathons

This role will be spending

  • 75% coding
  • 25% collaborate with solution architects/BA/QA-

Working Hours:

  • work typical on shore hours (9am-5pm ET) with occasional meetings earlier or later to support other time zones as needed
