Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • This role supports the agile coaching needs of the organization rather than a specific project/program potentially interacting with representatives from 200+ scrum teams.

Ideal Background:

  • Ideal candidate has performed multiple agile roles including Scrum Master and Product Owner with Coach being the most critical, created training curriculums, IC Agile coaching and/or facilitation certifications, 'Training from the Back of the Room' or similar experience

Team and Team size:

  • This role is part of the agile coaching team with 3-5 other coaches and 20+ change agents

Top Responsibilities:

  • Work with product, delivery leads and sr leaders to troubleshoot problems in their org and to create and execute coaching plans that are customized for their specific circumstances, focusing on the agile journey rather than the destination
  • Create and facilitate a modularized training curriculum with heavy emphasis on practice over lecture; includes "bridge the gap" coaching to assist teams in applying concepts learned in training
  • Document guidance, preferred practices, case studies etc as part of agile community site
  • Participate/co-facilitate community outreach forums like office hours, change agent networks, communities of practice, lunch and learns, panel discussions
  • Utilize a blend of coaching stances and deep relationships to help connect the dots for people and teams, business and technology
  • Serve as subject matter expert on all things agile, emphasis on product agility and complex organization agility

Skills/attributes Required

  • 4+ years of agile experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner or similar agile role
  • 4+ years of experience coaching in a large scaled agile environment
  • 4+ years of experience artfully applying multiple software development frameworks to enable more efficiently delivering software (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS)
  • 3+ years facilitating small group training
  • 2+ years of experience implementing organizational change initiatives

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • Industry certifications: IC Agile Enterprise Coaching, SAFe, LeSS
  • Facilitation methodology training such as IC Agile Facilitation and/or Training from the Back of the Room
  • Strong knowledge of agile manifesto and agile principles and their applications to software development processes and business agility
  • Experience with business agility transformations
  • Understanding of fundamentals of DevOps, continuous delivery, agile testing & agile metrics

Working Time:

  • 9-5

Interview Process:

  • 2 rounds of interviews- all remote with video option. Initial interview with Becky (1hr).
  • Peer interview panel. Potential for follow-up with Becky.
  • Interviews to start ASAP.
