Duties:

 

  • Serves as the ‘go-to’ digital product expert for the assigned product(s) or functions
  • Seeks to understand consumer needs, identify, and assess options, and recommend product solutions that align to a ‘best in class’ consumer experience.
  • Responsible for driving the product strategy, vision, design, and development execution
  • Ensure delivery of high-value products in alignment with business goals and user experience optimization.
  • Leads a high performing cross-functional team effectively and efficiently that is collaborative with business partners, customers, and other stakeholders (Engineering, UX/UI, Operations, Engagement, AI, etc.)
  • Leverages market and customer feedback and data to inform and guide future product/feature development
  • Advocate for end-users, and builds and improves features based on their pain points -strives to make product technology and workflows easy to use
  • Proactively manages and monitors product and operational risks (regulatory, security, operational, etc.) in order to prevent and/or mitigate risks to the customer and business
  • Ability to establish deep partnerships with business stakeholders to ensure product achieves business requirements and aligns to other organizational strategies and priorities.
  • Monitors and manages product schedules, scopes and budgets and delivering as scheduled.
  • Resource Budgeting (Financial, People, other)
  • Manages external Company vendor and partnership relationships as assigned.
  • Sets and manages to product performance scorecards and OKRs
  • Represents Company in a positive light with external partners and vendors.

  • Has an aptitude to understand and solve complex problems, distilling the problem into the core essentials to streamline and simplify product design and end consumer experiences.
  • Understands and applies current digital technology design, build, and operations capabilities and requirements.
  • Able to effectively communicate and translate a product vision, strategy, and design with engineering partners in order to optimize delivery of the desired results.
  • Futuristic thinking (ability to see trends and opportunities and to capitalize on them.
  • Actively seeks to understand new and emerging technologies, their capabilities, pros/cons, and potential applicability to digital product needs (now & future)
  • Experience in design thinking methodologies
  • Capable of creative problem solving to create software solutions that are simple, engaging and create value to the end users.
  • Experience in guiding and leading complex engineering teams
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strong communicator (written & verbal) with active listening skills.
  • Ability to independently lead multidisciplinary product or initiative teams with limited guidance/direction in significantly complex situations.
