  • Looking for a candidate with a strong attention to detail and who can follow strict procedures and branding guidelines while creating production labeling.
  • Responsible for graphic design in creating production labeling, packaging, product artwork and illustrations for supporting the manufacturing requirements for all products produced by the company's  General Surgery Group.
  • Must incorporate customer requirements and ensure standardization of artwork development in order to comply with company's  design standards.


  • Responsible for the graphic design requirements for packaging, and product artwork including the production of labels, lidstock, and display box artwork; placing and editing translated text; support for formal artwork review and approvals; and maintenance of packaging labeling development procedures.
  • Responsible for the creation and/or revision of vector line art to be included in Manuals and Instruction for use documents; graphics can include technical illustrations and photoshop editing; support the review and uploading of graphics to our publishing system.
  • Verifies vendor proofs, makes corrections or communicates changes to ensure all printed components match approved artwork files.
  • Effectively manages multiple projects, changes in project scope, and shifting priorities in order to maintain project requirements and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborates with department and cross-functional peers to ensure proper resolution to questions and issues that arise during the artwork development process.


  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of label printing applications.
  • Proficient with design software, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and

Microsoft Office. MAC Operating System.

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, able to creating product line drawings.
  • Ability to work with department peers and middle-management within the marketing, engineering, and manufacturing functional groups.


  • Four-year college degree (or equivalent experience).


  • Significant previous experience in graphic design artwork production.
  • Experience in the development of labeling for the medical device industry preferred.
