Position Summary:

  • Sr IT Bus Systems Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining processes and administration of key web-based systems utilized within the Neuromodulation & Pelvic Health Operating Units.
  • As part of the R&D PMO, this position will initiate, recommend, improve, and serve as the liaison of information technology systems that enable the business to make data-driven decisions to drive positive outcomes.
  • This role will provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and maintaining systems and procedures, which are cost effective and meet user requirements, as well as acting in a consultative role to internal stakeholders.

A Day in the Life

  • Consults with business stakeholders to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business problems and needs turning those needs into clear outcomes.
  • Provides technical expertise for system functional specifications and deploys new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner.
  • Establish and maintain business processes focused on internal user needs and experiences.
  • Configure system settings and options to meet business requirements.
  • Apply sound quality management processes and principles (eg, continuous improvement processes, lean principles) to help identify and reduce/eliminate suboptimal processes.
  • May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
  • Makes improvements of processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of the job area.
  • Exchange information of facts, statuses, ideas and issues to achieve objectives, and influence decision-making.
  • Communicates with internal and external customers and vendors.
  • May manage projects, requiring delegation of work and review of others' work product.
  • Other responsibilities, as required and assigned.

Must Haves

  • Bachelors degree with 4+ years of job-related experience, OR
  • Masters degree with 2+ years of job-related experience

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with resource planning systems.
  • Experience with wiki development and administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Web App.
  • Self-motivated problem solver with effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of system design and development.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and matrixed teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical topics to business management and users.
