Description:

  • As an Agile Practitioner 2 you will be responsible for facilitating one or more scrum teams to support the delivery of strategic technology products.
  • This position requires individuals who are not only experienced as a Scrum Master, but have extensive track records of delivering high quality systems and products.
  • You will need to have a strong understanding of and hands-on experience with Agile Methods, especially Scrum.
  • In addition to acting in the role of ScrumMaster, the position requires close collaboration with enterprise Agile Coaches to ensure compliance with the Scrum implementation approach adopted by.
  • You will also be responsible for the coaching of teams on scrum practices to ensure benefit from and adherence to core agile principles is achieved.

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Real Time Onboarding- Enabling Providers to submit a request to join the United Health network and facilitating verification of their credentials

Team and Team size:

  • 3 Teams, approx. 5-7 members with skills in UI/React, Java, Salesforce

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Scrum Master for 1-2 scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work
  • Facilitate sprint planning, retrospective and sprint demos
  • Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed
  • Ensure cross-team coordination
  • Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal
  • Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing
  • Act as a liaison to assigned project manager
  • Take responsibility for managing dependencies between our team and third parties, release managers, or between our team and other scrum teams
  • Actively contribute to the company's Agile Community through participation in the internal Agile Community of Practice and ScrumMaster Forums

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of IT experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master working on large scale, multiple Scrum team projects
  • 1+ years working with distributed teams including experience with international teams
  • Experience acting as a Scrum Master for multiple scrum teams
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of iterative development
  • Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
  • Understanding of backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
  • Understanding of incremental delivery and the value of metrics
  • Excellent English communication skills in written and spoken form

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Rally strongly desired
  • CSM, CSPO or other Agile based certifications
  • Experience with SAFe or other scaled agile programs
  • Experience with Kanban and other Agile methodologies
  • Traditional Project Management experience
  • Understanding of other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise
  • Understanding of the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team
  • Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
  • Participation in industry agile communities

Working Time:

  • 8:30am-5pm

Interview Process:
