Role Description:

  • The Salesforce Business Analyst and Support Specialist is a key member of our CRM team. In addition to being responsible for driving business process and design by iterating on requirements from business stakeholders, this person would work directly with the development team and architect to deliver best practice functionality.
  • The candidate will work with senior members of the team ensuring the successful delivery of the Salesforce and Conga implementation and are key communicators with business and IT partners.
  • The candidate should have solid functional and/or industry knowledge, as well as an ability to be innovative and team-oriented in a virtual setting.
  • The candidate must be able to lead key deliverables and implement creative solutions to business requirements.
  • As a Support Specialist, they will process support tickets, including troubleshooting, resolving/escalating issues, updating/uploading data, creating reports and dashboards and assisting users with the system.

Essential daily functions/responsibilities:

  • Utilize acquired knowledge of Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and strategic thought to analyze current business processes, suggest improvements, and participate in the implementation of new functionality.
  • Drive overall project milestones through completion; perform impact analysis and project estimation activities to ensure key deadlines are met
  • Lead requirement and design sessions with business partners
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile inconsistencies, and break down high-level information into actionable details
  • Develop and document processes and procedures for both technical and business users
  • Participate in the agile development process including user story creation and design, obtaining design approval, testing, and final delivery
  • Coordinate communication with business partners throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for supported business systems, and provide technical support as needed
  • Support creation of training materials, user communications, etc.
  • Create status reports and executive presentations for leadership
  • Additional duties as assigned

Specific Job Skills and Experience:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator as well as 3-5 years of Salesforce hands-on experience
  • 3 years of experience working closely with Salesforce Developers, assisting in design and development recommendations
  • 2-5 years of Apttus/Conga CLM experience
  • Strong data analysis and excel skills to work with large data sets
  • Ability to recognize complex problems vs. objectives and apply creativity to analyze situations, develop solutions and procedures
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as active listening skills
  • Preferred healthcare experience

Education:

  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience
