Position Summary:
  • The Sr. Learning Consultant / Learning Consultant will support the short-term and long-term sales training needs of the Institutional business.
  • In the short-term, upskilling our front-line sales associates to build strategic service and sales skills.
  • This role will be responsible for design and development of innovative, learner-centered, and impactful learning experiences that enable the achievement of strategic Institutional business objectives.
  • This role requires expertise and skill in adult learning, instructional design, learning technology, and multimedia development, with an innate ability to effectively collaborate and communicate.
Primary Job Responsibilities
  •  In the short term, design and develop a modern curriculum to support the reskilling, change management, and leadership development through a critical period of change.
  •  In the long term, redesign and modernize the frontline sales/service onboarding, manager onboarding, and leadership development curriculums.
  •  Apply knowledge and skills in adult learning expertise, instructional design, development processes, tools, strategies, delivery, and evaluation methods to enable best in class sales and service.
  •  Design and develop all types of learning solutions and experiences using a variety of development tools that exemplify good practices in instructional design (classroom, experiential, on the job, virtual, digital, gamification, video, etc.).
  •  Work with subject matter experts and colleagues to identify the root cause of organizational talent gaps that limit the achievement of the business strategy and help them to think creatively about learning solutions.
  •  Be nimble, resilient and adaptable to the ever-changing environment of learning and offer creative solutions based on both experience and industry trends.
Minimum Qualifications
  •  Bachelor’s Degree required.
  •  8+ years of experience directly related to instructional design; competency-based program design; innovative classroom design; complex, multi-media-rich e-learning experience design; hands-on digital and experience design; and instructional technology.
  •  Experience applying behavioral, performance, and learning best practices and theories.
  •  Demonstrated ability and passion for creating modern, visually appealing content for today’s learners that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to consume including PowerPoint, job aids, digital content, eBooks, eLearning, etc.
  •  Expert proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Suite, Articulate eLearning tools, WebEx Training Center, SharePoint, Workday, Learning Management Systems, and/or other related talent technology and social collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  •  Completed Master’s degree
  •  Professional certification in learning, organizational development, human resources or leadership development
  •  Deep understanding of current and emerging instructional design principles and learner-centered design methodologies with a demonstrated application through innovative learning experiences.
  •  Experience working in a global organization where interaction across geographies, functions, and business units is key to success, including managing the creation of learning solutions in multiple languages
