''JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

We are creating a role working with our Web platform that will provide direct support and coordination services for the Digital Web capability. The blended role will act in the following capacities:

  • On-site Support Lead – vendor facing support liaison an outsourcing partner for delivering systems support services, as well as liaison with internal customers and management teams
  • Analyst / Developer – technical analyst and developer for support incidents and minor enhancements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains and modifies digital web applications/designs and develops integrated subsystems
  • Recommends optimal approach and advises on alternatives in new website enhancements
  • Manages application software, application infrastructure and third party application environments in Digital Web capability. This includes installation, upgrades and patches, tuning, creating links and interfaces between systems, developing application-specific security, performance monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Performs complex diagnosis of problems, providing solutions within area of responsibility, and/or through consulting with vendor team members; coordinates implementation of fixes and enhancements; provides backup for other analysts as required
  • Responds to critical issues during off hours when necessary
  • Must have experience in user interaction, business analysis, development, integration, documentation, testing, deployment, building, configuration and production/customer support, maintenance and enhancements of Web applications
  • Must have experience troubleshooting/analyzing integrations between systems
  • Serves as a SME for Digital Web Support portfolio
  • Collaborates with the fast paced development team and architects, understands business requirements, technical changes and supports the outsourcing partner team in ongoing maintenance  and enhancements
  • Maintains Web applications and utilities developed in a variety of languages including ASP .Net, Sitecore and SQL
  • Drives triage and diagnosis for high visibility incidents with vendor partners and communicates updates to Allianz leadership
  • Conducts Incident backlog prioritization meetings with Business and IT teams
  • Assigns tickets to team members and other workgroups when applicable
  • Provides work direction to support teams based on Incident prioritization
  • Manages teams Incident backlog and collaborates with others for closure
  • Ensures work efforts are documented in Service Now

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills and be able to communicate and work with all levels within the organization
  • Must be able to coordinate and facilitate technical meetings with multiple vendors and stakeholders
  • Must be flexible, good listener
  • Must escalate appropriately
  • Must be self-starter, maintain skill set; aptitude to evaluate and become proficient in new technologies, processes and skills
  • High detail orientation; experience in documenting and tracking the status of multiple things simultaneously
  • Prefer background in Insurance and Financial Services technical skills
  • ITIL experience including incident, change and problem management
  • IT Production Support experience
  • Understanding of ETL / Informatica and SQL database technologies, willingness to learn
  • Must have extensive experience with ASP.Net, J2EE and Site Core
  • Experience working at enterprise level on large complex initiatives
  • Experience with defect management system (e.g., JIRA, Polarion, ServiceNow)

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience leading resolution of issues across multiple applications
  • 3+ years of experience providing production support for a Web application in ASP.NET , J2EE and Sitecore
  • Experience as a software developer or systems analyst
  • Experience working with onshore and offshore vendor teams
  • Experience working within a matrix organization
  • Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience
