Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing and supporting all aspects of the email marketing channel and execute email marketing strategies to align with business goals. You will help govern the marketing automation platform and fully leverage its capabilities. Working closely with designers, developers, project managers, and Marketing Managers, this role will implement all programmatic and operational initiatives through the marketing automation platform.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Responsible for email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, deployment, and continually evaluate these for improvements.
• Maintain Marketing Automation integration with CRM and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automation software
• Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team.
• Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance. Create recommendations to improve campaigns continuously.
• Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards
• Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth
• Support important marketing operations initiatives such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing.
• Create, optimize and maintain email communications to current and prospective customers to drive customer acquisition and retention goals, including management of automated campaigns, product marketing messages, and email acquisition channels.
• Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
• Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Competencies
• Proven years of email marketing and/or marketing automation experience.
• Expert knowledge of database management concepts and best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of a marketing automation platform, including but not
limited to: Marketo, Hubspot, Eloqua, Pardot, etc.
• Must have superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be highly organized and self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
• Strong independent project management skills.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal
supervision.
• Able to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Previous experience in project-based work structures
• Excellent copywriting and copyediting skills
• Strong problem-solving, analytic, and strategic-thinking skills
• Computer proficiency, including knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop or Adobe InDesign
• Working knowledge of HTML / MJML / CSS
• Possess strong knowledge of measuring effectiveness (KPIs), lead nurturing, and
eMarketing campaigns and the ability to generate and execute marketing tactics and
contribute to strategic marketing plans.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or marketing
• Three years minimum of B2B marketing experience is preferable, with a minimum of 2
years directly responsible for creating emails and executing email campaigns is
necessary.
• A talent for crafting copy that communicates clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
• Knowledge of HTML / MJML / CSS
