Project Summary:

  • Develop a framework for physician education related to endoluminal lung ablation post site readiness assessment for navigation and Cross Country use (Phase 2 training). 
  • This phase of the proposal will focus on education needed for clinicians performing the endoluminal lung ablation. Framework to include:
  • Education pathway - Cadence and type of physician education touch points including reference to which are required and which are optional Program summary for each touch point - Summary of program goal, learning objectives, target audience and program format.
  • Education content types- Confirm that existing education content list sufficiently supports learning objectives.
  • DELIVERABLES: KOL feedback on key needs - Setup calls with 3 ablation KOLs (Ng, Lau, Spears) to provide input on education pathway needs.
  • In addition, setup calls with 2 physicians likely to be invited into the IDE or EU expansion to provide their feedback on the proposed education pathway.
  • Education Framework recommendation - Summarize the proposed education pathway including types of training to be offered (goal, format), order of training to be offered, learning objectives for each component, and any performance requirements to advance to the next training stage.
  • Deliverable format: PPT deck and team presentation

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and clientsatisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders.
Organizational Impact:
  • Establishes operational plans and implements policies and strategies. Decisions impact program schedules, customer satisfaction levels, or allocation of time, material resources, expenditures and funds.
  • May have budget or P&L accountability for a department, function or geography. Strive for continuous improvement and consistency in deliverables.
Innovation and Complexity:
  • Proposes modifications to functional operating policies and day-to-day processes.
  • Problems and issues faced are complex, difficult and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem.
Communication and Influence:
  • Communicates with internal and external customers and vendors regarding ongoing operations.
  • Uses information exchange, influence and active persuasion without direct exercise of command to gain cooperation of other parties .
  • May interact on issues that have externally shared objectives.
Leadership and Talent Management:
  • Manages a team consisting of supervisors and / or experienced professionals in the Specialist career stream.
  • Leads, directs and reviews the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
  • Authorizes hiring, firing, promotion and reward within own area.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one job area.
  • Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
  • Requires a University Degree and minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
