Description of Role:

The Project Manager will support a significant change project implementing a new POS solution for retail stores. The primary role will be as follows:

  • Create and manage the project plan and all other governance documentation including the RAID
  • Lead the team to ensure activities are planned and executed on time
  • Manage the rollout of the new POS to high quality standards, ensuring that stores can successfully trade after conversion
  • Manage the Analysis, Execution, and Close phases of the new POS for new brands
  • Work with the Scrum Master to coordinate Dev and QA stories, tasks, and bugs
  • Work with Product Owner to ensure gaps are assessed and prioritized
  • Work with Test Manager to ensure the test phases are completed successful
  • Ensure rollout activities are constantly improved throughout the rollout process

 

Experience

Must have experience:

  • At least one rollout of POS to a retailer of more than 50 stores
  • At least 10 years' experience in project management
  • Managing at least two POS projects requiring extensive integration, development, and testing of the solution
  • Agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Managing complex integrations involving multiple systems, integration types, and suppliers, using mixed methodologies in single project (Agile and Waterfall)
