Looking for a Marketing Automation specialist & power user who can drive end-to-end automation support aimed at strengthening brand and market share, while focused on growing revenue. This role is responsible for managing the marketing automation platform (Marketing Cloud) and fully leveraging its capabilities.

In this role you will have a strong foundation in marketing automation and will be tasked with creating, implementing, and improving best practices and continual enhancement of digital marketing efforts. You will be responsible for understanding digital engagement metrics and implementing strategies to increase customer engagement. 


Email Campaign & Deployment

  • Build, test/QA, launch and monitor B2B and B2C lifecycle email marketing campaigns including nurture flow that drive awareness, engagement, retention, and advocacy throughout their journey.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to determine goals, KPIs, audience segments, cadence, and creative for each campaign.
  • Make recommendations based on business requirements and desired goals with goals to optimize the delivery and cadence of communications.
  • Identify opportunities to run A/B testing variations to drive improved results, as well as, sharing these learnings to inform future strategy & direction.
  • Deploy A/B tests to drive the most effective ROI throughout the entire funnel.

Data & Reporting

  • Drive effective database segmentation that results in delivering the right message to the right person at the right time.
  • Maintain and optimize email subscription status in compliance with all necessary email regulations including CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, and CCPA
  • Analyze results and data to identify possible areas for improvement.
  • Oversee data integrity & hygiene: cleanliness, completeness, duplicates.
  • Assess use of segmentation, filters, static lists.
  • Regularly report on KPIs and campaign performance back to business and marketing team
  • Configure, train, and enable sales adoption of alerts, notifications and lead/contact/account data that helps to inform where a buyer is in his/her journey and appropriate follow-up.
  • Utilize 1st Party and 3rd Party data to analyze, track, and report on key metrics, improving KPIs performance throughout the funnel.


  • Audit existing marketing automation processes and practices to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Interpret and implement digital best practices for email, personalization, segmentation, and data-capture from forms and landing pages.
  • Collaborate with IT and other partners on tool development, such as data integration and API. Maintaining Marketing Automation integration with CRM and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automation software.
  • Partner cross-functionally to manage data integrity and database hygiene, maximizing ability to market to contacts.
  • Enforce digital governance and contact strategy processes.

Templates, Programs, and Workflows

  • Manage the use, configurations, and updates to email templates.
  • Web Form configuration, usage, and ongoing optimization
  • Review email template usage and layouts for driving desired conversion results.
  • Create, review, and optimize email marketing programs including lead scoring, nurture campaigns, lead, and data workflows.
  • Optimize flows, content, and cadence to achieve higher B2C/B2B conversion rates and drive more qualified prospects into the sales pipeline.

Skills & Competencies

  • Working knowledge of Marketing Cloud
  • Knowledge of database management concepts and best practices, Salesforce preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and AMPscript preferred
  • Working knowledge of closed-loop reporting
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organized and self-motivated with a sense of urgency
  • Project management skills
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision
  • Able to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion.
  • Excellent attention to detail

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field.
  • 2-5+ years of marketing automation, digital engagement or and/or business strategy; with experience in digital engagement/marketing. Preferably Marketing Cloud.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital engagement techniques, tools, and measurements.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, including technical and creative projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a project-oriented, diverse team environment.
  • Experience with - preferred

Preferred: Knowledge of HTML or CSS and use of Sitecore
