Description:

  • The Legacy Remediation initiative is an effort to move 10 UHC Employer & Individual portal experiences to a more modern platform with updated UI and backend services. Our UHC Employer & Individual footprint is currently covered across three platforms.
  • The goal of this work is to remediate the oldest platform to ensure aligned, stable experiences for our members, while reducing our footprint to 2 platforms, with associated value in cost savings and technical debt reduction.
  • The scope of this role will be to assure we have no gaps in scope and to be on point for stakeholders and delivery teams as we progress through the various experience moves.

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Ideal candidate will have managed a complex program in the digital space in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Candidate will understand Agile/scum practices and be able to work with Agile portfolio leadership to identify issues and risks in delivery, velocity, etc.
  • Ideally, candidate will understand the complexities of a program involving differing business stakeholder groups and have managed the critical communications required.

Experience:

  • Digital transformation experience working with consumer facing portals; AEM experience a plus.

Top Requirements:

  • 8 years Project Management experience having successfully delivered large-scale digital transformation programs -consumer portal experience a plus
  • 5 Years working with and demonstrated understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Working knowledge of MS office and program management software

Team and Team size:

  • This person will be part of the Digital team, working within the Employer & Individual Platform Strategy team supporting myuhc.com, among other member facing assets. The role will work with multiple stakeholder groups and delivery teams.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and deliver as well as managing the financials, forecasting, risks and issue management and delivery solution for the Legacy Remediation program, involving
    the re-platforming of 11 member portals
  • Work across multiple projects scrum teams to ensure the program is delivered on time
    and within budget
  • Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of program status, risks and issues across a
    highly matrixed environment
  • Use problem solving skills working with delivery teams to ensure proper and timely
    mitigation of issues as they arise.
  • Ensure dependencies are identified and included in planning and execution

Software tools/skills:

  • 8 years Project Management experience having successfully delivered large-scale digital
    transformation programs -consumer portal experience a plus
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Working knowledge of MS office and program management software

Working Time:

  • Work hours are flexible, but will ideally fall between the hours of 7am and 5pm CST
