Tampa, FL or Remote
User Experience Developer Freelancer – 30-40 hours per week
6-8 month contract with possibility of CTH down the road. 

Our marketing and creative teams need someone who understands how the digital world is built, how to create and design new experiences, and how to turn those experiences into working, customer-facing websites and applications. 
To be considered for this role, you should be able to develop interactive websites and experiences and be familiar with a variety of front-end frameworks and techniques. 

Minimum requirements are:
•    HTML5/CSS3/JS across a wide range of interactive and mobile projects
•    Clean, W3C-compliant code
•    Familiarity with Bootstrap or other development frameworks
•    Mobile-First thinking including experience with cross-browser compatibility and testing across multiple devices
•    Ability to code without Dreamweaver or a wysiwyg editor (SublimeText, NotePad, or other IDE)
•    Ability to translate ideas into working experiences for our internal and external clients
•    Excellent communication skills
•    An online portfolio showcasing your design, and front-end work and abilities
•    Microsoft Office Suite experience (excel, word, powerpoint, etc.)
•    Adobe Creative Cloud experience (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

Additional capabilities:
•    CSS pre-processors such as SASS or LESS to compile our stylesheets 
•    Expertise in performance optimization using tools such as YSlow or PageSpeed
•    Image compression experience
•    Video editing experience
•    Experience with cross-browser compatibility and testing across multiple devices, including mobile and tablets
•    Uses of custom written JavaScript
•    Contributions to OpenSource projects on GitHub a plus
•    A firm grasp of SEO / SEM best practices
•    Ability to analyze data and act on it to create amazing experience that engage our users
•    Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain (and, if need be, to fight for) your designs and user-experiences
•    An online portfolio showcasing your design, and front-end work and abilities

Education Required:
•    An Associate’s or, preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, marketing/advertising, or related experience.
