Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • The Legacy Remediation initiative is an effort to move 10 UHC Employer & Individual portal experiences to a more modern platform with updated UI and backend services.
  • Our UHC Employer & Individual footprint is currently covered across three platforms.
  • The goal of this work is to remediate the oldest platform to ensure aligned, stable experiences for our members, while reducing our footprint to 2 platforms, with associated value in cost savings and technical debt reduction.
  • The scope of this role will be to assure we have no gaps in scope and to be on point for stakeholders and delivery teams as we progress through the various experience moves.

Experience:

  • Ability to document visually, provoking reactions that build understanding to move teams forward
  • Proven ability to gain and grow the trust of stakeholders and team members

Top Requirements:

  • 7 years working with member facing portals in an analysis capacity
  • 5 years experience in Agile and SCRUM
  • 3 years experience in supporting enhanced consumer digital experiences

Team and Team size:

  • This person will be part of the Digital operations team and will work primarily with a scrum team dedicated to the legacy remediation work.

  • Experience leading product definition in an environment with rapidly changing information across multiple project tracks
  • History with user-centered design approaches
  • Excellent communicator with the skills to synthesize and personalize approaches and recommendations across a wide range of audiences and roles
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Specific Duties:
    • Definition of program scope via analysis of current platform that is in scope for planned remediation. Current platform supports about 3.7M uhc members across 8 differing portal experiences, in addition to providing portions of the overall UHC member portal (myuhc.com)
    • Work with business stakeholders to ensure long-term plans for each of the impacted member experiences is taken into consideration in planning for their transition
    • Represent requirements work with Product Owners to develop features and user stories
    • Work with UI/UX team to ensure designs are well translated into requirements and are consistent across the various experiences
    • Support and drive User Acceptance testing cycles

Must have qualifications/experience:

  • 7 years working with member facing portals in an analysis capacity
  • Extensive SCRUM experience
  • Ability to translate between technology and business
  • Demonstrated success in supporting enhanced consumer digital experiences
  • 3 years experience ensuring realization of design vision and accessibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile certifications like CSPO, CSM, TKP, etc. You have previous experience in Healthcare or insurance You have some technical expertise with business logic behind member portals

Software tools/skills:

  • Microsoft suite-esp visio and excel; Rally (CA Agile) preferred

Working Time:

  • Flexible; ideally work hours fall within the 7am - 5pm CST window
