  • Join the energetic, fast-paced team responsible for Client’s large, expanding, multi-channel (onsite, offsite, in-store) advertising business.  
  • Our team empowers brands to join Client in reaching the largest, highest-fidelity first party customer audiences across their shopping journey at a time when Client’s relevance to customers’ lives has never been stronger or accelerating faster.  
  • Our advertising business extends that relevance to hundreds of brands, from the largest international CE brands to emerging, private equity-backed brands on their way to household awareness.  
  • Advertising business reporting and insights team has two primary responsibilities; first, to provide analytics and insights for the full lifecycle of a client’s campaign, from pre-sale insights to intra-campaign optimization to post-campaign reporting.  
  • At every stage, ad business reporting and insights team is designed to generate confidence and transparency to advertisers’ investments in Client’s media solutions and reinforce our differentiation and exclusivity.  
  • Second, the advertising business reporting and insights team will help quantify, track, and contextualize the performance measures generated from our Advertising business back to the enterprise, including the relationship between the advertising business and Client’s purpose and brand.

Project Description:

  • As the Lead Analyst, you will have an important and visible role on the team, responsible for?compiling campaign reporting, performance analysis, and translating data into actionable insights.? 
  • An ideal candidate is analytical, results-driven, and solution-oriented with a proven track record of solving problems using data & technology and have a good understanding of digital media.  
  • You’ll build relationships with data, analytics, technical & business teams inside Client?to enhance our reporting suite leveraging our proprietary metrics.? 
  • In addition, you will help turn analytics into recommendations that help identify opportunities for incremental revenue.  
  • This role will support the full scope of advertising activities across multi-channel advertising businesses and product categories.

Position Summary/Job Description:

  • Ability to aggregate and analyze internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights? 
  • Pull advertiser specific data to develop recommendations for future campaigns? 
  • Partner with other advertising teams including Account Management, Sales to make data-driven decisions around campaign recommendations and optimizations
  • Strong understanding and communication regarding reporting and data insights?? 
  • Leverage business knowledge and analytical skills to translate complex results into clear insights and actions for decision-makers?? 
  • Synthesize multiple sources of data as well as large data sets?to develop reports, tools and metrics to track campaign performance, business trends, customer behavior and other key success indicators? 
  • Routinely QAs own work to high quality standards and ensures integrity of the information; troubleshoot any data issues related to tracking and reporting? 

What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?

  • 2+ years’ experience as an analyst or in a similar role?responsible for reporting and insights 
  • Must be comfortable with large sets of data and possess a solid understanding of media campaign results?and digital media landscape
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and PowerPoint? 
  • Ability to work autonomously?through sometimes vague and shifting directions

What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?

  • 2+ years ecommerce experience
  • 2+ years digital advertising experience with a focus on campaign analytics
  • Exposure to reporting and analytics systems utilized in digital advertising space
  • Familiarity with ad serving platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager, SA360 or DV360 and how ad serving works across websites and apps
  • Experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as marketing mix modeling, multi-touch attribution, A/B testing and ROI measurement
  • Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools, like Tableau, PowerBI, Datorama, and others.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in business, science, or the arts
