A Day in the Life

  • The Marketing Specialist will be expected to assist with the execution of marketing plans and initiatives to drive revenue for the Global Renal Care Solutions product portfolio.
  • This individual will need to develop expertise with both capital & disposable products that are used to deliver peritoneal dialysis for ESRD patients in the outpatient setting.
  • Main responsibilities include working with a cross-functional team to translate initial ideas into an innovative product design, empathetically connect with healthcare professional and patient customers, and drive customer-centric market research for product development.
  • To support these activities, this role will closely align with the global regions to understand the customer needs which will also help contribute to a robust global marketing strategy for both short-term and long-term planning.

Essential Functions:

  • Be an active participant by taking marketing ownership of the product segment to ensure alignment with cross-functional strategies (R&D, Sales, Regulatory, and Operations).
  • Provide customer/patient insights to the cross-functional teams by developing a strong working knowledge of the dialysis market and patient conditions.
  • Work with an innovative, global team engage in iterative, human-factor engineering and industrial design to drive product scope and design.
  • Identify and evaluate market assessment and barriers to system adoption and assist the regional organization to successfully determine go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop financial forecasts and analytics to drive predictive modeling around revenue, pricing, costs, and projections.

Must Haves

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 2 years of medical device marketing/sales/product management experience, or an MBA with 0 years of experience.
  • Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within the renal space.
  • 25% travel, including some nights and weekends.
  • Strong inter-personal skills allowing for effective regional/customer-level support.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and comfort presenting to internal and external audiences.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in collaborating with nephrology and nursing call points to drive clinical practice.
  • Ability to multi-task while managing multiple projects and day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Experience with collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Appreciates the need and value in collaboration and maintaining a customer-centric approach.
