Description:

  • Senior Cloud Architect to do R&D
  • Architects services, controls, and reusable patterns that enable the team to deliver value safely, quickly, and sustainably in the public cloud.

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Support 2 different Security Programs ( Identity and Access Management: Authentication, Authorization, Governance, Privileged Access, PKI, etc) initiatives by providing R&D support to solve for 2 very specific security problems.

Ideal Background:

  • Ideal candidate would have deep IAM experience, End Point Security experience and Strong knowledge of varied IAM attack patterns.
  • Knowledge of cloud providers :GCP, MSFT, AWS providers and their capability is a must. Hands on Engineering/Development experience is a huge plus, but I want the person doing architecture not engineering/development.
  • The candidate Industry: HealthCare is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Financial Services would be the next preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills is a must - Ability to effectively communicate up, sideways and down.
  • Architect needs to bring people together to ensure we are solving the right problem.
  • Ability to translate big picture to solutions that get us to the big picture vision.
  • Since Identity is the gate to all access – all architecture needs to be grounded foundationally in security from day 1.

Experience:

  • Having the skills described; verifiable and recognizable industry references; being available ASAP.

Top Requirements:

  • a) Hands on, deep, knowledge of IAM capabilities in all 3 major CSP( Cloud Service Providers).
  • The experience needs to current in a range of 2-5 years
  • b) Deep Security knowledge with risk assessment ability
  • c) Legacy IAM experience is necessary 2-5 years

Team and Team size:

  • My team is all architects ( 5) with deep knowledge of IAM.
  • They are all focused on a specific domain within IAM. Looking to supplement the team with strong cloud knowledge to increase speed to market.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • 1. Perform R&D on Privileged Access Workstation solutions to support onprem and cloud capability
  • 2. Develop a detection mechanism for Golden SAML attack
  • 3. Effectively liaise with other teams in information security & risk management, infrastructure & architecture management as well as business functions to deliver the target technology environment
  • Interact skillfully with business stakeholders and third-party technical organizations
  • Proactively automate infrastructure, application and services to enable an automated delivery through the CICD pipelines to the cloud
  • Proficiency with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, PowerShell
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Fortify, Sonar)
  • Experience with migrating applications to the Azure cloud
  • Experience building and deploying applications to the Azure cloud using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Expertise with modern programming languages, systems, and architectures

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in defining practical operational practices
  • Expertise in performance and scalability optimization
  • Knowledge of software and infrastructure security practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Effective communicator with strong influencing ability across technology and business teams
  • 6-10 years enterprise experience in Hybrid Identity Platforms with deep understanding of Cloud Identity, Security and Networking
  • 3-5 years working in Microsoft Azure in an Identity solution engineer or architect role
  • Workflow automation experience with Jenkins, ARM Templates, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or other DevOps tools
  • Scripting experience with Power Shell, Python, or equivalent language
  • Any Cloud Certifications are a plus

  • a. How many rounds? 4 people will interview the candidate.
  • b. Video vs. phone? First rounds through phone and then video
