Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Navigator Modernization - Navigator Modernization. We are building a scalable Call Center Application on Azure cloud.

Ideal Background:

  • Strong Agile background. Strong experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS.
  • Strong experience in React, Angular or similar. Strong in either Spring or Hibernate. Experience with REST services.
  • Strong Experience in MySQL. Experience in UI using JQuery, JSON. Experience with UI building packages.
  • Strong Experience in UI/UX toolsets (Sketch, InVision).
  • Experience with best design practices (user personas, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes).

Team and Team size:

  • The candidate will support the Challengers scrum team that is working on Navigator Modernization. Current team size is 12.
  • He/She will also be responsible for the overall design of the application.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Work with the business to understand desired user experience.
  • Translate into UI/UX designs.
  • Work with the technical team to implement UI/UX designs into production.

Skills/attributes:

  • Experience with UI building packages.
  • Strong Experience in UI/UX toolsets (Sketch, InVision).
  • Experience with best design practices (user personas, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes).
  • Wireframing/UI Prototyping, UX toolsets, UX research.

Nice to have:

  • 5 years of experience and prefer multi-talented skillset in all aspects of UI/UX design

Working Time:

  • 9am – 5pm

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? 2
  • b. Video vs. phone? Video
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? Very technical. We would like to see any portfolio that the candidate has created.
